Devin Lunsford : “All the Place You’ve Got”

“There is a foreboding feeling that permeates through the state that I have decided to call home, but I cannot escape the eminent beauty of its lush landscapes and seemingly mundane places. These mundane places and things truly make up the bulk of my experiences; my life is not filled with intoxicating moments, but rather with the search for who I am and where I come from. “All the Place You’ve Got” is a cathartic exploration of my beautiful surroundings shot through with anxiety, romanticized but considered with a wary gaze. I aim for the connection between what is lovely today and decrepit tomorrow, expressing my search for meaning within a place where I am at times both inhabitant and outsider.”
