Nadège Abadie’s “Le choix à Bérengère”

Each year in France, some 9,000 young people establish themselves as farmers. Why, today, do they make these life choices? Being happy is learning to choose a vocation, a profession, a way of living and loving. These pathways are not the only ones, but for the people involved, they’re the right ones. Bérengère’s choice is also Justin’s, Claire and Antoine’s, Jessica and Antoine’s… transhumant shepherds, young farmers breeding goats or dairy cows. Here is the second part of a documentary series produced by french photographer Nadège Abadie, for the photographic assignment “La France vue d’ici”.
