Here is a focus on three of the readers’ favourite discoveries, presented last July on Fisheye’s website.
1. Adeline Care
French photographer Adeline Care likes to conceive creations at the borders of fiction and reality. When she discovered the basaltic landscapes of Etna and the impossibility that any life form may be born there she imagined what the extinction of the human race would be like. With Aïthō (I burn), she presents a lunar and post-apocalyptic series.

2. Margaret Lansink
How can we make sense of the loss of a loved one? With Borders of Nothingness, Deutsch photographer Margaret Lansink tries to find answers. A metaphorical and touching series, to discover at the Rencontres d’Arles.

3.Patricia Combacal
writes stories through images. Her séries Décillement highlights the moments of an epiphany, and the confusion following it, a feeling which can be traced back to psychoanalysis.
